★ MAY 15, 2026: CJI Surya Kant said "youngsters like cockroaches" during a Supreme Court hearing about FAKE DEGREE HOLDERS sneaking into law and journalism with bogus qualifications. He called those specific fraudsters "parasites of society."

★ MAY 16, 2026: CJI clarified on record — "What I specifically criticised were those who entered professions like the Bar with fake and bogus degrees. It is totally baseless to suggest that I criticised the youth of our nation."

★ ALSO MAY 16, 2026: Abhijeet Dipke — former AAP social media worker, currently studying at Boston University in the US — launched CJP. Not to fight fake degrees. Not to fight professional fraud. But to recruit the "lazy, unemployed and chronically online."

He took a remark directed at criminals with fake degrees — and repackaged it as an attack on all Indian youth. 20 million people followed. Not a revolution — a misunderstanding, monetised as a movement.

The judge clarified. CJP didn't care. Because the outrage was more useful than the truth.
